Meet the Team

I am a school counselor certified grades K-12 in NY, NJ and CT. I have my Master of Science in School Counseling from Touro College and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Delaware.

My application process was nothing short of simple. When visiting colleges, I immediately fell in love with UD as it felt like “home” and was a place I could easily imagine spending the next four years of my life. Being the indecisive teenager, it was perfect for me because the college was medium size and just the right distance from home. After applying early decision, I was deferred, and remembering like it was yesterday… I went to my guidance counselor and bawled my eyes out. She immediately reassured me and recommended that I get an additional letter of recommendation from my most rigorous course teacher at the time. I had heard back a week later and to my surprise had been accepted! I share this story because it is something that I keep in mind as I guide students today. I have learned the importance of not taking no for an answer and thinking “outside the box” when it comes to college admissions.

As a first-generation college graduate, I understand the challenges of navigating the college admissions process firsthand. For over 12 years, I've dedicated myself to empowering students and their families through personalized academic and college planning sessions. My focus is on helping each student find their 'best fit' for post-secondary success. Creating opportunities and access for all students is at the heart of my work.
